This policy explains how Spark X Innovation Company collects, uses and protects your data and your child's data, including when you contact us on WhatsApp.

Effective date: 25 October 2026

  2. 1.2 We run the SparkX Makers education programme for ages 7 to 18, on-site in Riyadh and online, and we are responsible for the data covered by this policy.

02Data we collect

  1. 2.1 Parent or guardian data: name, mobile number, and the contact and payment details needed to complete enrolment.
  2. 2.2 Student data: name, age, programme level, and what is needed to track attendance and progress. We receive it from the parent or guardian.
  3. 2.3 WhatsApp conversations: the messages you send to our number, your phone number, message times, and our replies.
  4. 2.4 Student work and photos: as described in our Terms and Conditions, for educational and marketing purposes only.

03How we use your data

  1. 3.1 To register students, schedule sessions and track progress.
  2. 3.2 To answer your questions about programmes, prices, schedules and terms.
  3. 3.3 To contact you about your subscription and any changes to it.
  4. 3.4 We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing.

04WhatsApp and our automated assistant

  1. 4.1 We receive and answer messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta.
  2. 4.2 To help answer repeated enquiries we use an AI-based assistant. Your message text reaches the assistant and is sent to an AI service provider (Anthropic) to draft a reply only.
  3. 4.3 The assistant answers only from our published programme information and does not decide refunds or exceptions; those cases and complaints are handed to our team.
  4. 4.4 Authorised academy staff may read conversations when needed, and you can ask to speak to a person at any time.
  5. 4.5 We never ask for card details or passwords on WhatsApp. Please do not send them.

05Who we share data with

  1. 5.1 We share the minimum necessary with service providers who process data on our behalf: Meta (WhatsApp), the AI provider above, and our server hosting provider.
  2. 5.2 Some of this processing takes place outside Saudi Arabia, including servers in France, and we require our providers to protect data in line with applicable rules.
  3. 5.3 We may disclose data if a competent authority legally requires it.

06Retention

  1. 6.1 We keep data for as long as needed to deliver the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
  2. 6.2 Automated-conversation logs are deleted from our systems periodically.

07Children's privacy

  1. 7.1 Our programmes are for children, but enrolment and communication go through the parent or guardian.
  2. 7.2 We collect children's data from the parent or guardian or during sessions, and we do not direct the automated assistant at children. If you believe your child contacted us directly, please tell us.

08How we protect data

  1. 8.1 We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, restricted access, and verification that messages reaching our systems really come from Meta.

09Your rights and how to use them

  1. 9.1 Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law you may access and correct your data, request its deletion, and, where applicable, withdraw your consent.
  2. 9.2 To delete your or your child's data, or for any question, message us on WhatsApp or call +966 50 003 1051, stating the parent's name and mobile number. We will respond within a reasonable time.

  1. 10.1 We may update this policy and will post material changes on this page. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept it, without affecting your legal rights.
  2. 10.2 This policy is read together with our Terms and Conditions.
